Report on a framework of metrics for production code anti-patterns for DevOps

The team at Delft University of Technology have released the first public technical report from the COSMOS project. The document titled "Framework of metrics for production code anti-patterns for DevOps" presents an extensive analysis of bad coding practices in cyber-physical systems (CPS) that can lead to performance issues based on examining the code history of a diverse set of projects openly available on GitHub. It includes a discussion regarding whether the performance issues can be considered as CPS-related performance anti-patterns and a tool called PyRock, which eases the process of exploring the code history of CPSs for finding code changes that might lead to performance issues.
